Utterly disappointing
Toad and Lil Kim show was highly anticipated by me, as I'm a fan of both. Toad was fantastic, sounding great and melodic. But Lil Kim was terrible! Adam Duritz spoke the lyrics rather than singing them. It seemed like he attempted to sound artistic, resulting in a butchered performance. The songs Round here, Mr. Jones, Omaha, and others all sounded terrible. It's evident that hitting the high notes is a struggle for him. While I'm usually open to artist interpretation, this was one of the worst I've heard. Their live versions didn't resemble the recordings much. Despite their great songs on albums, the live performance was simply terrible. I ended up leaving midway through their set. Save your money.
